Nominatim for reverse geocoding in UK not working inside IE

I got a http request to https .the issue is nominatum link i am using is

http://open.mapquestapi.com/nominatim/v1/reverse?format=json

https is getting http request .its working fine in firefox and chrome but not working on I.E .i am getting error saying access is denied.

Is there anyway to get this working in I.E

our site is secured connection (https) and redirecting it to nominatum link
http://open.mapquestapi.com/nominatim/v1/reverse?format=json

throught javascript when i tried to work on it i got an error saying "Access Denied" referrring to that javascript page and after deugging i fould out its referring to this http nominatum link.

Our Open Services don't currently have https support so this might be your problem. Your best bet for now is to use the Geocoding Web Service on Licensed Data.
